Seward County Entertainment

Featuring first-run films in the heart of downtown Seward is the historic Rivoli Theatre. Probably the most significant structure in nearby Bee, Nebraska is the historic States Ballroom built in 1938, providing the setting for many get-togethers, including weddings, basketball games, dances, and the annual Barn Dance. Dancing at the Flying V Ballroom in Utica has been a tradition for years.

During the summer, Seward's Municipal Band entertains weekly at Seward's outdoor band shell. The Seward County Agricultural Pavilion provides the community with a facility large enough to accommodate large social and business gatherings, along with fairs and auctions. In 1997, Concordia University dedicated a new 1,400-seat, $2.25 million track and field stadium. With 18 intercollegiate sports, the university's athletic schedule is a busy one year-round. Attending the Goehner Melodrama which has over 30 sold out dinner theatre performances each summer is a must.
